Release Notes - October 2014 Update A

We have enhanced one endpoint and added four others for convenience. We have also improved customer metrics shown in the Developer Portal.

Get Customers
GET /v1/customers?search=[text]&start=[index]&limit=[count]

The endpoint Get Customers now supports a “search” parameter to return customers where [text] is found in the customer’s usernameemail, or any combination of firstName and lastName fields. If no search text is provided, return all customers.

Get Institution
GET /v1/institutions/{institutionId}

New endpoint to get details for the specified institution.

Get Customer Accounts by Institution
GET /v1/customers/{customerId}/institutions/{institutionId}/accounts

New endpoint to get details for all active accounts owned by the specified customer at the specified institution.

Get Customer Support Tickets
GET /v1/customers/{customerId}/tickets

New endpoint to get all customer support tickets for the specified customer.

Get Customer Account Support Tickets
GET /v1/customers/{customerId}/accounts/{accountId}/tickets

New endpoint to get all customer support tickets for the specified customer account.

Developer Portal

We are now showing three metrics for customer records. (Note that these values are updated once per day.)

  • Testing Customers: Customers with testing accounts on FinBank (the testing institution, see Testing Accounts for details)
  • Active Customers: Customers with non-testing accounts, who are included in the daily aggregation batch.
  • Billable Customers: the peak number of active customers during the current month, reflected in your monthly invoice.
